-
- Your A1200 is NOT accelerated if it has a 020, that's a STOCK A1200 processor,
- If i had a 030/040/ or a 060 THEN is would be accelerated.
-
- If you want to Upgrade to the 3.1 ROM's, Go and BUY some 3.1 A1200 Kickstart
- ROM's! Open your Computer, Unplug the old 3.0 Kickstart ROM's and plug in the
- New 3.1 Kickstart ROM's. I personally don't see any reson to do that. If you
- really want to spend all that Extra money for much of nothen. When 3.1 Came
- out that was Mainly a Upgrade for all the older Non-AGA Amiga's. There are
- some small Improvments, You can get most by just Upgrading your Workbench to
- 3.1 and keep using the 3.0 ROM's. I've been that way since 3.1 had come out,
- and have had NO problems. At this late in time I would think waiting for The
- Next Major System Upgrade 4.0 would be a better bet. A Complete A1200 3.1
- Upgrade with Software/Manual/ amd Kickstart ROM's in in the $150 US price
- range.
-
- Just BUY a Amiga Mag and Start calling around to see who has them for Sale and
- how Much if you really want to. It's not all that hard to do.
